Yangtze or Chang Jiang,river in China,is the longest river in Asia and the third longest river in the world.The Yangtze flows a total distance of 6,300km( 3,900 miles ),from the Tibetan Plateau in the west to the East China Sea in the east,forming China's principal navigable waterway and a natural boundary between what is traditionally considered northern and southern China.It has immense economic importance of China.Images
